MOUNTSBERG CONSERVATION AREA

THE EXPERIENCE (19+)

We are proud to introduce the Mountsberg Sugarbush Experience, developed in close partnership with the City of Hamilton Public Health. (You can learn more about health and safety at the bottom of the page.) You are invited join us for one of three outdoor country experiences—three time’s a country charm!—set back in the sugarbush at Mountsberg to raise funds for the Conservation Halton Foundation. If there’s one thing we have learned over the last few months, it’s that we need to slow down, live a little simpler and appreciate the things that matter, like friends, family and nature. The Mountsberg Sugarbush Experience is the perfect way to get outside and spend some time together, safely.

11:00AM - 1:30PM

This is brunch the way it was meant to be—a hearty assortment of classic dishes made with food from local farms and savoured out in the woods. Get dressed in your country best, throw back a whisky mimosa and listen to live bluegrass music while you wander through a vintage and harvest themed marketplace.

$150 per person (includes tax and $60 donation receipt)

2:30PM - 5:00PM

If there is somewhere better to sip whisky than a campfire in the middle of the woods, with birds of prey flying through the trees, we haven’t found it. And if there is somewhere else like that, we bet they don’t have a menu filled with the decadent flavours whisky and maple.

$150 per person (includes tax and $60 donation receipt)

THE CAUSE

The Conservation Halton Parks—and especially Mountsberg—have always been places where children come to learn, but our current circumstances have made that difficult. Proceeds from the Mountsberg Sugarbush Experience will help us respond to the increased demand for outdoor education programs, in a safe, responsible and accessible way, and address the new need for virtual learning programs. Join us to help get our kids back into nature.

SAFETY

If you're wondering about the recent announcement from the province, we want to assure you that this experience was developed in close partnership with City of Hamilton Public Health Services. The current restrictions on outdoor gatherings of more than 25 people are applicable only to private, unmonitored gatherings, but this experience is considered to be a public, monitored gathering, which are required to follow strict and specific public health and safety guidelines:
